JOB TITLE: PART TIME Teacher/Clinic Collaborator

Hours: PART TIME Hourly/Before, During & After school hours

JOB DESCRIPTION/OBJECTIVE
Da Vinci is a multi-functional educational company that provides services designed to support the academic needs of our clients. The role of our Educational Therapist/Clinic Collaborator is to provide the best customized instruction for each of our students while meeting their individualized educational needs. Our therapists are hired on an hourly basis and are required to work in our clinic and/or provide remote instruction. Each therapist will be given the opportunity to attend multiple professional development trainings throughout the year. It is required that the therapist attend at least 4 of these training sessions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare daily lesson plans customized for each student

• Data collection using a variety of methods

• Bi-weekly communication, unless there is an urgent issue, with program manager regarding student progress, identify any concerns

• Progress Reports

• Track and submit student attendance and data collection

• Attend at least 4 professional development trainings

• Committed to lifelong learning and personal development

• Attend administrative staff meetings (as needed)

SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED

• Knowledge and experience with IEP’s

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including preparing all educational plans and materials necessary for each lesson

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to meet deadlines

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED/PREFERRED

Degree in Education (or other related degrees)or working towards degree-Required

Certified Teacher or working towards certification-Preferred

Experience working with students with a variety of learning styles-Preferred

Experience with multi-sensory language, writing and comprehension programs- Preferred but will train
