Compensation $15+ per hour

Mad For Chicken is a restaurant chain best known for its Korean style fried chicken and other Korean inspired dishes. We are relentlessly focused on quality and service excellence – we strive to keep our menu fresh which consists mainly of made from scratch ingredients. Our restaurants are also known for their distinctive rustic designs and comfortable ambiance making them a destination for groups of all sizes. Mad For Chicken was established in 2005 and began franchising in 2020 to fulfill its mission to create remarkable experiences and get everyone “MAD” for their chicken.

Position Overview:

Mad for Chicken Hosts/Cashiers are the first point of contact with our guests, therefore the position requires a dynamic individual who is personable who can handle high pressure situations. The individual will need to develop a solid working knowledge of our menu and point of sales systems and processes for handlining transactions.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Providing quick and efficient service to customers
· Greeting customers, and taking their food and beverage orders
· Manages the register and processes all transactions/ Collects payments from guests and makes a change
· Prepare and serves beverages from the bar (as necessary)
· Assembles food and beverage orders, checks them for completeness and accuracy, and packages orders for on premise and for takeout
· Monitors and maintains cleanliness of the front of the house
· Assists with guest issue resolution

Skills & Qualifications:

· - Minimum 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant

· - Minimum 1 year of Bar Management experience

· - Valid Food Handler’s Certification

· - Familiarity with all major food prep techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

· - Exceptional guest service skills

· - Enthusiastic, High Energy, Respectful, and Hospitable

· - Dependable and motivated with a strong work ethic

· - Ability to speak, read and write at a high level with guests and staff

· - Attention to detail

· - Execution oriented

· - Able to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods of time

· - Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

· - High school diploma

Qualifications:
· 1-2 years restaurant experience preferred
· A positive attitude a must
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to take direction
· Exceptional time management skills
· Understanding of basic food safety procedures
· Team Player
