PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Cash Management Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in the expansion of Cash Management services to BSNB's business customers. You will utilize creative strategies to help sales growth to meet long-term strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Actively work with existing business clients to uncover additional banking needs and services to meet or exceed deposit growth targets.
- Utilize Centers of Influence and market information to develop creative strategies to reach new customers and market service and product opportunities.
- Act as a liaison with other lines of business to uncover additional banking needs and services to meet or exceed deposit growth targets.
- Provide business customers with financial options to structure more sophisticated business relationships. Work closely with account officers to ensure a seamless relationship. Analyze account statements, and financial documents.
- Prepare municipal and commercial banking proposals based on customer needs, services provided, and profitability.
- Maintain a business call report.
- Complete all cash management forms and agreements and facilitate the decision process through the appropriate approval authorities.
- Attend networking events relevant to position, and meet with local centers of influence to expand prospects.
- Provide the highest levels of customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' business development experience in the financial services industry. A demonstrated comprehension of cash management products and services preferred. A proven track record of business development, expansion of relationships, and prior experience working with commercial customers a must. Demonstrated ability to make presentations to customers tailored to their needs focused on the benefits of the recommended services. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
