Caregiver for Bross Street Assisted Living - $500 Sign on bonus!
Job description
Bross Street Assisted Living is a small historic home looking for both full-time and part-time dedicated caregivers. This rewarding position supports a maximum of 10 of older adults in a non-medical setting in downtown Longmont. We have flexible hours available including mornings and evenings. Our residents value their independence and we are looking for caregivers who will support them in their daily routines while keeping their dignity and self-worth at the forefront where our staff support in seeing each person thrive.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Fostering an independent living environment for aging adults through person-centered care
- On-going communication and care plan development with team members, administrator, residents, and family members
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living including:
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation and facilitation
- Perform and/or assist with personal care, such as bathing, teeth brushing, shaving, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Light cleaning and housekeeping as needed
- Creating and facilitating meaningful community and home-based activities
- Working alongside volunteers and external care providers to deliver services as needed
- Complete daily documentation on resident care
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings, both part time and full time available
- Diverse experience across industries welcome
- Works in full compliance with all of Bross Street policies, procedures, and protocols
- Able to perform the physical demands of the position
- Must be vaccinated (or willing to become vaccinated) for COVID-19

Salary:
