Team-oriented individual, dedicated to providing friendly and exceptional guest service, while displaying a positive attitude when interacting with customers and other team members. The Busser- Food Runner is responsible for all aspects of the Busser and Food Runner positions within the restaurant, setting up the restaurant, delivering food, clearing and re-setting tables, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Essential Functions

• Effectively and efficiently follow the best practices of restaurant's standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Dedicated to product quality, cleanliness, and customer engagement.
• Excel in performing all required Busser-Food Running functions to include completion of all opening, running and closing duties, food running/dining room attendant, and daily cleaning projects; timely and with a sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of all menu items and be able to assist customers.
• Perform all pre-shift tasks including floor set-up.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant stocked and organized throughout the shift.
• Ability to read tickets and deliver food promptly and accurately.
• Exercise good judgment and decision making in escalating concerns.
• Adhere to Federal, State, and local laws in addition to all company’s policy.
• Adhere to local health and safety codes as well as company’s safety and security codes.
• Adhere to all company standards and policies including code of conduct, attendance, uniform policy.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Restaurant experience preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Passion for the business, compassion for people
• Self-motivated, Highly-Energetic, goal-oriented and dependable
• Actively listen to others and ask question to validate understanding
• Ability to understand verbal and written English
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, night, and holidays
• Must be willing to work extended periods of time
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs., bending and twisting
• Food handler certified
