The Business Development Representative (BDR) helps the dealership sell automobiles by assisting customers both online, as well as by phone during their information gathering about a future purchase, as well as facilitating the appointment process for the sales department. BDR agent is the first step in assisting the dealership to develop a relationship with its customer and is a vital part of the initial sales process.
Automotive Business Development Representative Jobs - Responsibilities
Understands current inventory by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
Create sales appointments by overcoming objections; asking for sales appointments;
Provides sales management information by completing reports.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
