Project Overview:
The Business Analyst role is an integral team member who works with the various groups to support modernization efforts. For this role, the candidate will work directly with the customer and team members. They will be translating product strategy and roadmap into well-defined user stories, features, and enablers that will realize the product vision and improve the customer experience. Perform Scrum Master duties, meeting facilitation, and engage in bi-weekly testing of the completed user stories.
Summary of Major Job Functions:
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements throughout the standard development life cycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epic stories into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team.
- Document stories and manage backlog in AzureDevOps.
- Provide product management support such as prioritization and backlog grooming
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis for associated tasks during the life cycle.
- Coach the team to create better solutions, improve business results, and better their processes.
- Facilitate team meetings, including Backlog Refinement / Iteration Planning / Daily Stand-Up / Iteration Review / Iteration Retrospective
- Remove impediments and barriers to the team’s progress.
- Communicate and track agreed upon team metrics.
- Support the Project Manager to communicate and coordinate meetings, presentations, and develop teamwork products.
- Develop test cases.
- Ensure requirements are tested and provide expected functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
- At least 5 years of experience as Business Analyst and experience with User experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing IT software development as a Scrum Master.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with application testing.
- Must have experience working with Agile/Scrum.
- Must have experience with AzureDevOps
- Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Candidates must be able to pass a US Public Trust background check for badging and to access client systems.

Additional Information:
- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder.
- All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
- Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.
Other Information:
- The salary for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 annually
