Infant Teacher Position Summary
Under the direction of center administration, the infant teacher develops and executes individual education plans for children ages 6 weeks – 3 years. The lead teacher ensures their teaching team (assistant teacher and teacher aide) provides a safe and educational learning environment for the children.
Basic Qualifications
- CDA (Child Development Associate)
- 2+ years teaching experience in a childcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in E.C.E.
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
- Knowledge of State licensing requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 25-35 lbs
- Ability to walk, kneel, sit, and stand for long periods of time
Starting Wage: $11.08-$14.00/hr. based on education and experience
