Job description

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will report to the Controller. The job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices for services rendered.
  • Enter data on invoices; ensure proper coding is on documents and paperwork is submitted.
  • Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communication with customers via phone, email, fax, or mail.
  • Assist with collections by examining customer payment plans and payment history.
  • Assisting in timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and COI audit(s).
  • Establishing and developing relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, posting, and recording AR payments.
  • Knowledge and experience addressing sales and use tax.
  • Assisting with other office and business-related functions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • US Work Authorization
  • Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years accounts receivable experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • General math skills
  • Self-supervising – work by direction of the Controller
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Software
  • High level computer skills – Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • Ability to pass background and drug tests

  • Service Titan experience a plus
  • Experience with collections and filing small claims
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems and think outside the box

Compensation:

  • Salary: $38,000–$45,000 (Based on qualifications & work experience)
