ACCOUNTING MANAGER
SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager will be a key contributor to the Fair Oaks Foods Accounting and Finance Department. He/ She will support the Corporate Controller in such areas as accounting SOP development, Month-end close, Supervision of AP, Treasury Management, External financial and Tax Reporting, year-end audit and project support. The Accounting Manager will support effective financial operations while complying with established policies and procedures. Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
- Maintain the general ledger system in SAP, including all GL Account Numbers, Cost Centers, Account Groupings, Profit Centers, and Allocation mappings.
- Work with Supply Chain management in developing and maintaining standard costing analysis including BOM’s, Labor and Overhead Rates, PPV, Material Ledger, and Standard Costing.
- Perform Treasury Management, analysis, and reporting.
- Filing and paying all monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
- Developing and maintaining departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Support year-end audit including gathering requirements and consolidating schedules and work papers.
- Support the Finance team with special projects, initiatives, and analysis.
- Support FP&A in the development of the annual budget, planning, and reporting process.
- Engage one-self to other parts of the organization to drive value and continuous improvement.
- BS/BA degree in accounting required.
- 7+ Year of Experience
- Manufacturing experience a strongly preferred.
- Experience in SAP/ERP strongly preferred.
- CPA/MBA a plus
- Comfortable working in a growing and fast paced growth company environment.
- Strong Data mining, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, I.E - Xlookup and Pivot tables
- Effective communicator and organizational skills
