American Municipal Services is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant for a full-time, remote/hybrid position.

We specialize resolving balances on outstanding warrants and citations, utility bills, emergency medical services, etc. and are known for our flexibility and first-rate customer service. Posting payments in our database and QuickBooks

Backup for Payroll

Accounts Receivable

Accounts Payable

Skill and Qualification Requirements:

Strong communication and problem solving.

Organized, able to multi-task and work independently.

Reliable and dependable to work 40 hours weekly.

Computer skills – QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Office Suites

Previous accounting experience a must

Must past a criminal and work background check.
