JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager performs in a highly visible role, overseeing the day-to-day tasks with Clients and the Creative/Production Team. You are responsible for implementing marketing strategies that will exceed client goals, including revenue and occupancy objectives.
The Account Manager organizes and manages the day-to-day workflow of all projects, acting as the liaison between the creative and production teams to work directly with the client to communicate project status. This person shall manage multiple client contracts that require the execution of brand strategies, creation of marketing roadmaps, and implementation of day-to-day performance on all client digital marketing channels including, but not limited to, website development and optimization, display advertising, remarketing, meta-search, search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media advertising, online travel agencies (OTAs), email and content marketing. Candidates must possess excellent communications skills with the ability to manage and communicate with a team of creative and technical professionals. A demonstrated history of simultaneously managing multiple programs and projects and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, adapting quickly to changing deadlines and always flexible in shifting tasks to meet deliverables. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute innovative ecommerce campaigns that will increase awareness and revenue including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), paid social media, online digital advertising, management of online travel agencies(OTAs), and third-party online listings for our clients and their properties; projecting a positive perception of our clients, their hotels, restaurant(s), services, and employees
  • Represent Miles Partnership and client accounts in client meetings
  • Manage day to day deliverables in collaboration with the client and production team
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are consistently being met with the client
  • Build relationships with stakeholders in the client’s tourism industry, as well as, explore new business opportunities
  • Conduct project discoveries and gather technical requirements. Implement plans for new projects and programs
  • Identify and provide ongoing key measurements. Analyzes reporting with suggestions for corresponding program adjustments.
  • Coordinate with the production team to deliver products on schedule/budget
  • Manage communication with the client, reporting on project status and deliverables
  • Manage and maintain weekly status meetings/documents
  • Manage resources and freelancers to assist workload of the production team
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Work with the Creative and Media teams and Account Director to develop project scopes
  • Create and maintain tracking procedures for the contract/approved scopes
  • Manage and process all invoices and own the billing process
  • Create, maintain and circulate client and project status reports
  • Responsible for internal and external documentation/communication of agreements, account details and deliverables
  • Support Account Director in maintaining and growing quality client relationships - identify potential business opportunities
  • Responsible for keeping Account Director updated on issues of strategic/political importance
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of directly related marketing/advertising or project management experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • 3+ years of experience working with mid-senior level customers to understand the motivation, timeframe and acceptable level of effort for agency projects
  • 2+ years of directly related ecommerce and digital marketing/advertising work experience
  • Applicants with industry certifications are highly preferred, such as but not limited to: Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME); Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA-STR); Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM); and advanced degrees aligned specifically with eCommerce.
  • Knowledge of media planning and KPIs a plus, familiarity working against goals and budgets a must
  • Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed
  • Able to create & manage complex schedules with overlapping priorities and deadlines
  • 1+ years experience with Web analytics systems (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience managing monthly billing procedures and willingness to own the invoicing process
  • Able to shift priorities quickly and examine issues both strategically and tactically
  • Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
  • Able to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision
  • Willing to take direction, but also work independently
  • Able to respond positively to customer feedback
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

  • Hospitality/tourism experience is a plus

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $65,000 DOE
