Ashley Industrial Molding is looking for a talented 2nd shift Supervisor to join our Oelwein, IA facility Team. What is required? Energy, attention to detail, problem solving skills, strong communication skills, and a drive to contribute new ideas to a growing business.

Principal Activities:
- Ability to support and supervise your team/crew in a positive manner which promotes a positive work environment and strong employee retention.
- Create and implement processes to manufacture products in a low-cost, but efficient way.
- Support program launches.
- Assist in developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives through continuous improvement events.
- Performance Design of Experiments, qualification processes, time studies, and troubleshooting.
- Review and improve fixtures, processes, layouts and specify tools and equipment to achieve cost reductions and improve safety, quality and reliability.
- Create applicable detailed work instruction and manufacturing process documents.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality departments to support operations on 3rd shift and other duties as assigned.
- Communicate daily productions results to relevant management.
- Continuously improve 5’s activities in the workplace.
- Schedule manpower and report productivity in company IQMS system.
- Encourage participation in company safety activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or manager position
- Basic knowledge of large-scale manufacturing
- Proven history of applying lean manufacturing
- Ability to maintain high levels of quality.
- Strong commitment to employee safety and training.
- Excellent communication skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Must be a team player.
- Demonstrated computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Adobe, Power Point), operating PLCs
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
