Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will work 10-29 hours per week. Duties will include washing equipment, maintaining an orderly hard, instructing customers on equipment operation, loading of equipment onto vehicles and attaching towable equipment. Additional responsibilities may include shop/maintenance tasks, delivering and picking up various types of construction equipment and parts to and from customer job sites.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment for customers, both internal and external.
• Wash and degrease machines as needed.
• Keep the parking lot cleaned of debris and trash and equipment organized in their proper location.
• Safety practices and procedures.
• Must have knowledge or ability to learn all equipment operation.
• Use of power and hand tools.
• Change attachments teeth, edges, etc. as requested.
• Assist technicians with repairs as needed.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must have the ability to stand/walk for the entire day.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful candidate should have at least six (6) months experience around equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
