Your tasks
Bytro is looking for a working student to handle the studio's communication with our translation partners. This role is critical for the success of our localization efforts across our game portfolio. We believe this role would require approximately 40h/month or 10h/week. The workload would be expected to be more on some days than others and be partly planned, and partly on-demand. We believe this position will require some onboarding and training with the workflow and tools involved and thus such onboarding and training would be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Import and export files from and to our internal translation tool Pootle
• Import and export files from and to our external translation memory middleware XTM
• Review and clean up the content of files received from our translation partner
• Monitor a dedicated email inbox for questions from our translation partner
• Gather necessary information from our internal team to answer questions from our translation partner
• Escalate any issues to the line manager at Bytro that are out of scope for this role
• Other activities mutually agreed between between the freelancer and Bytro

Your profile

• Good grasp of the English language in writing.
• Good communication skills.
• Availability during standard operating hours between 10:00 and 16:00 on weekdays
• You are currently enrolled to a university
• Ability to work up to 40h a month
