PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Wine Store Associate, you will be responsible for setting the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu
- Take and place orders, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
- Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments
- Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed
- Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
