Job description

Mount Hope is seeking wine shop team members for our much-anticipated tourist season! This wine shop is located in Bird-in-Hand.

Description

Do you love history and helping people? Do you enjoy talking to guests and have an eye for details? Please join us as a Wine Shop Team member in the Mount Hope Wine Gallery gift shop!

Duties:

  • Aid guests in locating merchandise with knowledge of prices and display arrangements

  • Provide friendly and quality customer service

  • Handling all cash register duties include opening and closing procedures and operating a credit card machine. POS Square experience is a plus!

  • Answer questions and offer suggestions to guests

  • Keep work area clean and orderly by restocking and maintaining inventory, sweeping, cleaning countertops, etc.

  • Handling minor customer complaints with understanding

  • Helping guests with wine selections and tastings

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older

  • Must possess the ability to be customer-service oriented, friendly, and motivated to provide necessary information and assistance to our valued guests

  • Have steady transportation

  • Friendly and able to work well with others

  • Meet company grooming standards

Working Conditions:

  • Requires working mostly indoors

  • Requires standing for long periods of time, lifting 20lbs or more, bending and walking

  • Must be able to work long shifts on weekends and select holidays


Salary

$11 - $12 per hour
