Water/Wastewater Electrical, Pump, Motor, Control Maintenance Position

Hallsdale Powell Utility District currently has job openings for electrical maintenance position. The position requires the employee to work in both the wastewater and water departments. Applicant must have a high school Diploma or equivalent and valid Tennessee driver’s license. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on both water and sewer systems, operating District owned Vehicles, carrying out various assignments as directed by the supervisor. Applicants that have electrical license, certifications, or education in electrical and maintenance items will be highly considered for these openings. Applicants with experience in the items below will be considered for an interview. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and physical. Hallsdale Powell Utility District is an EOE.

• Ability to trouble shoot a variety of electrical equipment with voltage from 24v to 480v.
• Experience working with Plc.’s and components
• Strong understanding of relay logic (Primarily troubleshooting)
• Strong understanding of 4-20 instrumentation (Ability to perform test and troubleshoot)
• Efficient in reading electrical drawings
• Experience in pumps and motors
• Experience in installing and troubleshooting VFD’s of varying manufacturers
• Familiar with SCADA systems and controls
• Understanding of basic pneumatics and hydraulics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
