Seasonal Water Patrol
East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District provides water and sanitary sewer services to over 60,000 customers in the eastern portions of the City of Centennial and unincorporated Arapahoe County.
We are accepting applications for seasonal water patrol. This position is responsible for monitoring water usage in neighborhoods of ECCV Water District. Hours vary but emphasis is on weekend coverage.
Number of positions needed: 2
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule Options:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. & Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
OR
Monday - Friday 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. & Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Primary responsibilities:
- Drive district vehicle to patrol predetermined neighborhood routes to ensure compliance with established watering schedules.
- Take photos of violations. Record date, time, and address of violations and input into Excel spreadsheet.
- Monitor past violations within allotted timeframe to ensure compliance.
- Provide basic information to public regarding watering schedules and related information as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles.
- Must be able to operate a camera and laptop.
- Basic computer data entry in EXCEL.
- Must be able to communicate with other employees and the public.
