Position: Warehouse Manager (3+ YRS EXP)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday. 40 hours/week. 9:30 am - 6:00pm. Must have a valid and good standing driver’s license and license for at least 3 years. We will need a copy of your driver's license and a signed Motor Vehicle Report with our insurance companies prior to hiring. Hours: Monday - Friday. 40 hours/week.

Cell phone reimbursement: The company pays $50/month for cell phone reimbursement.

Eligible for health insurance benefits after 6 months.

Forklift experience required.

3+ Years of Warehouse Manager experience required.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee all activities of the warehouse.

Operating a forklift to unload, move, locate, relocate, stack, load and count merchandise.

Receiving/Shipping: Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, or carpet pole. Open, process paperwork, label and put away all office deliveries from UPS/FedEx. Load up customer pickups, obtain customer signatures and properly process paperwork while maintaining pick folder. Label, update cut sheets, and put material received from installers in appropriate shelf. Coordinate, prepare, inspect, deliver material to customers and vendors.

Operate carpet cutting machine and fulfill flooring orders based on customer work orders/invoices. Delivers, or arranges deliveries with warehouse staff, material to customer’s and installers as needed.

Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for installer/subcontractor pick-ups, ensuring that the appropriate quantity and type of product is loaded.

Maintain and coordinate with Purchasing accurate stock of sundry items such adhesive, glues, luan, transitions, etc.

Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Order propane for forklifts as needed. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that inventory control and security are maintained. The below list includes carpet, remnants, hardwood, ceramic, all vinyl products, sundries, art, and transitions.

· Responsible to sample and label with size, inventory number and price.

· Performing inventory counts and coordinating timing with operations to ensure accurate and timely adjustments.

· Ensuring all material coming and going building are properly recorded on cut sheets

· Ensuring all inventory and special ordered goods are stored in appropriate shelving

Creating flooring samples for the showroom. Assist with showroom organization such as making carpet remnants presentable, putting away samples and setting up displays.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Oversee all cleaning/janitorial duties. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA Standards.

Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required. Oversee the coordination of the company's fleet vehicle maintenance including vehicle repair arrangements, fueling, registrations, and inspections. Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed such as shoveling snow and salting, and arranging repairs with the landlord's responsibilities.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Warehouse/Showroom/Office/Bathroom Cleanliness:

· Ensure area rug and remnant area is presentable and safe for all customers

· Ensuring all floors are free from dangerous obstructions

· Ensuring dumpster area is clean at all times

· Proactively preparing paperwork and material for upcoming binding pickups

Maintenance & Monitoring:

· Ensure tool sign-out and monitor the receiving of all company tools to installers

· Cleaning and maintaining all company tools to ensure longevity

· Identify and report all safety concerns to appropriate management

Conduct:

· Cross train all warehouse employees to ensure smooth operations during absences of work

Sales person contact:

· Loading up customer goods including showroom and warehouse goods

· Breakdown, disposal and set up of all sales displays at the direction of the Store Manager

Experience:

Warehousing Manager Experience: 3 Year minimum required

• Forklift Operator: Required
• Flooring Experience: Preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret blue prints.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
