Job description
Your Role
The Warehouse Clerk reports to a Supervisor or Manager and uses Warehouse Management Systems to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reports for all receiving activities.Your Responsibilities
- You will validate and record inbound and outbound data manually and systematically (WMS)
- Verify required paperwork with drivers, ensuring all product is counted and damage free
- Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
- Ensure accuracy, prepare and create pick list, packing list, POD recovery for inbound or outbound activities
- Verify and receive product into inventory
- Maintain product locator system
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, inbound/outbound phone calls, use of radio, data entry
- Complete all necessary records and reports
- Be a site subject matter expert for Dangerous Goods questions and issues
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 1 year in customer service
- Establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
- Basic technical and math skills
