ROLE SUMMARY

Receives deliveries and puts away pet products in warehouse. Rotates product that have expiration dates.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Must be able to perform and meet qualifications/job requirements of Warehouse Associate 1 and Warehouse Associate 2.
• Excellent attention to detail and focus is a must to ensure accuracy and quality. Position requires an accuracy rate of 97% or higher and a pick rate of 0.71 lines per minute.
• Able to safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, slip sheet attachment, walk riders, electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks.
• Able to communicate safety issues or concerns to supervisor
• Able to abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Flexible to changing customer or operational demands and able to work overtime on short notice. Position requires working until the job is complete.
• Must be organized, cooperative and a team player.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Previous forklift certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of computers and RF scanners.
• Previous company order selection experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Standing/walking for duration of shift.
• Temperature varies based on weather conditions.
• Warehouse environment is not 100% dust-free.
• Use of warehouse equipment including pallet-jacks, walk-riders, forklifts, etc.
• We work until the job is complete. Full-time employees are expected to work necessary overtime as required
