Position Summary:
The Department of Studio Art at Willamette University welcomes applications for a one-year full-time non-tenure-track position in Drawing and Expanded Practices, beginning in August 2023 and running through May 2024. The ideal candidate will teach all levels of drawing in our B.A. program. In addition, we are looking for an artist with a studio practice and teaching experience in drawing and related fields, which could include one or more of the following: painting, printmaking, new media/video, social practice, or performance art.
Willamette is a small, highly selective private university of 2500 students, 1300 of whom are enrolled in the undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences, which is committed to providing students with a well-rounded liberal arts education.
