We are currently seeking a Vice President of Marketing, North America

You are an enthusiastic Vice President (VP) of Marketing who will not only execute in the trenches, but also provide strategic leadership, from a market and product perspective, to our management team.

We are looking for the right person to help us lead the build of our brand. This person will work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to the world.

As the Marketing Vice President at William Coffee, you will define and shape our company’s outward image. To do that, you’ll need to uncover consumer insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns. We’ll turn to you to learn what can attract our customers and prospects and how we can improve customer experience.

If you’re creative, possess a strategic mind and have experience in implementing targeted, foundational brand and direct to consumer product campaigns, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will own Cafe William's reputation with our customers, prospective customers and drive growth through direct to consumer brand work.

IN MORE DETAILS

  • Working with William’s leadership team, establish the firm’s marketing strategy across digital (online) and physical (in-store) sales in the US & Canada
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights;
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission;
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies;
  • Manage consultants as well as a team of marketing in Québec, Canada & sales people working on brand initiatives;
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”;
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates;
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs;
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities;
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities;
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions;
  • Devise innovative growth strategies;
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.

YOUR SKILL SET

Academic Background :

  • University degree in business administration or any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant.

Work Experience :

  • Previous working experience as a Marketing Director / VP for at least 8-10 years;
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success;
  • Experience in a marketing management position (USA) at the strategic and operational level in a growing company;
  • Experience in the development and implementation of best practices for the execution and monitoring of a marketing plan (tools, dashboards, etc.);
  • Experience in high-volume dry food (an asset).
