Primary Roles + Responsibilities:
- Field and convert inquiries for weddings, social and corporate events.
- Drive sales by outreaching, prospecting, and helping build brand recognition and venue awareness.
- Conduct in-person and virtual site tours.
- Customize proposals to meet each client's unique budget and vision.
- Guide clients through the booking process.
- Adapt to the challenges and walk clients through the process of booking future events responsibly due to Covid-19.
- Work closely with the Event Production Specialist to ensure all booked clients are handed over seamlessly.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual budgets set by the Director of Revenue.
- Participate in weekly meetings.
- Cultivate industry relationships with partners and vendors.
- Open and close the venue, helping keep the Front-of-House pristine.
You may be a good fit if:
- You've got 3+ years of experience in sales, required.
- You've got 3+ years of experience in catering (on- and/or off-site), required.
- You’ve got a sales mindset and a sense of urgency.
- You're a clear and effective communicator (both verbal and written).
- You're familiar with the B.E.O. process.
- You're passionate about hospitality.
- You can work independently, manage/prioritize a full workload and respond to all communications in a timely manner.
- You're comfortable with cold calling and prospecting.
- You're proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- You've got a gracious and generous approach to business.
- You've got reliable transportation and a cell phone.
- You're coachable with a willingness to learn and open to feedback.
- You've got experience with TripleSeat and AllSeated programs, not required but a plus.
- You're multilingual, not required but a plus.
Salary:
- Compensation is a combination of base salary and commission.
- Base salaries range between $40k to $45k DOE.
- When the commission is added, annual compensation for someone successful in this position would range from $55k to $75k annually.

Other Details:
- This full-time position will be based out of the Costa Mesa venue.
- Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. Local travel required - minimum 1 day per week, up to 20%.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the event schedule.
