Job description
JHFCU is currently seeking full time Universal Member Service Representatives for our main branch location which is close to lovely Eager Park, the Bloomberg School of Public Health and just steps away from the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. Our Universal Reps excel at building strong relationships with our members by guiding them toward solutions that meet their unique financial needs. Our financial professionals are extremely comfortable educating members about JHFCU products and services, and identifying the most efficient and expedient resolution to their concerns.
Essential Duties Include:
- Meets the members’ needs by educating and addressing a variety of questions related to accounts, and JHFCU products and services.
- Identifies the most efficient and expedient resolution to members’ questions, concerns, and/or complaints, including identifying the department and/or individual best able to respond.
- Recommends and cross-sells appropriate products and services order to increase account relationships and retain memberships in support of Credit Union goals.
- Performs teller transactions fluently and with outstanding accuracy, including proper endorsements, correct holds placed on checks, and supervisory approval (as required).

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or general education (GED) and a minimum of two years customer service experience in a Credit Union or financial services environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Universal Member Service Representatives must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and project the Credit Union’s outstanding reputation by providing consistently exceptional service levels, which exceed member expectations.
Possessing a “can-do” attitude, along with excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks with professionalism and tact are qualities that translate to success.
Starting hourly compensation is $20
