Tumbler Operator

Oberfields LLC is currently seeking an individual to work as our Tumbler Operator at our Sunbury, OH facility. The primary objective of this position will be to perform all functions necessary to produce the highest quality tumbled products possible. Ideal candidates for our Tumbler Operator position will be energetic, organized, have basic mathematic ability, two years of experience in production operations. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is for the Day Shift with the hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday – Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. The Tumbler Operatorposition will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Description:

§ Operate the tumbler equipment and perform all necessary set-ups and product change over procedures

§ Ensure the organization of the dock area and keep the dock clean and the areas under and around the tumbler clean

§ Assure that finished tumbled cubes are properly shrink bagged and labeled with all correct information and the labels are placed on the cubes in a professional manner in the upper left-hand corner of the front of the cube

§ Ensure that a quality product is being produced by continuously inspecting the product exiting the tumbler

§ Assist in keeping all floor areas clean and well maintained in the entire production area

§ Monitor the tumbler equipment and assist in necessary repairs, troubleshooting, and set-ups

§ Preventative Maintenance

§ Notify Plant Manager of any problems that develop during your shift.

§ Notify the Plant Manager of low levels of packaging supplies.

§ Clean the mixer stand and all material handling and mixing equipment if needed

§ Completely fill out all required paperwork in an accurate and legible manner

§ Maintain a professional and productive manufacturing environment by keeping all production areas clean and organized

§ Assure that the correct machine settings are being maintained to produce Qualityproducts

§ Ensure that a quality product is being produced by continuously inspecting the product being produced on the block machine

§ Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner and ensure that all production personnel on your shift are following safety procedures

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

· Mathematical Skills

· Teamwork

· Ability to lift up to and including 100 pounds

· Must enjoy a fast- paced work environment

· High School Diploma

· Good communication skills
