Bridgeford Trust Company is a fast-growing and well-known South Dakota trust company. We have offices in both Pierre and Sioux Falls.

South Dakota has a thriving trust industry that has become a global leader in the field. Bridgeford services high net-worth clients across the country and around the globe as a trustee of trusts.

There are many opportunities for advancement and growth in the company. This position must be performed in our Sioux Falls office. This is not a remote position.

This position is for a Trust Administrator. We are urgently hiring so please apply right away.

THE ROLE:

This is a long-term full-time salaried position with our company. Promotions, raises, etc. are anticipated in this role. This is an in-person position and there is no remote option. You will be expected to be physically in the office.

  • Skills or experience required: None in particular, but prior Trust Administration, banking, or administrative experience is a bonus.
  • Education: Bachelors degree or above required.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

Because we believe in full transparency, the compensation package of the role is as follows:

  • Base Salary of $46,200
  • Discretionary Employer Bonus: Anticipated to be $2,800+
  • Profit sharing contribution (automatic 10% of salary -- $4,620 annually)
  • Full family health insurance paid by Employer (Blue Cross Blue Shield)
  • Full family dental insurance paid by Employer (Delta Dental),
  • HSA contribution (max employer-provided IRS limit for individual or family HSA ($3,850 for self-only coverage and $7,750 if family), and other benefits.
  • PTO – 20 Days Paid
  • Holidays – 13 Days Paid (over 14 days as 2 are half-day holidays)(and occasional early release paid hours as determined by Management. We also have an extra holiday this year for Juneteenth)

Standard business hours are anticipated, but rarely unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet some high-volume or emergency needs.

Very occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel could be necessary and required (anticipated to be no more than two (2) times annually at most).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with Trust Company audit and accounting functions. Below are examples of what some of these functions could entail - training will be provided for all functions:

Trust Administration Responsibilities:

  • Working with trust officers to perform duties for assigned trust accounts as delegated
  • Assist with account onboarding process including correct identifying documentation from necessary parties has been provided, paperwork is fully filled out, and assisting with processing background, informational, or required regulatory checks
  • Assist with annual reviews and post-acceptance reviews for accounts
  • Assist with the risk-rating process and required ongoing and initial due diligence for trust accounts
  • Tracking pending items for assigned trust accounts and tracking unfunded trusts and report back to trust officer and/or client regarding missing or pending items and the status for certain items
  • Processing information, mailings, and communications that come into the trust company or for certain trusts
  • Document maintenance and file maintenance, printing, scanning, saving documents, and setting up folders for both hard copy files and in Company’s document management system
  • Performing other requested tasks and functions as explained and assigned
  • Communicating with clients regarding their accounts and transactions in accounts
  • You will also perform some Executive Assistant functions for the President.

GENERAL:

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED AS NEEDED. YOU DO NOT NEED ANY PARTICULAR BACKGROUND IN ORDER TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE. WHAT YOU DO NEED, IS:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $46,200.00 per year
