SMD Inc. Independent contractor for FedEx Ground is now hiring a Class A Driver. Local runs dispatched from the Spartanburg, SC terminal.
We are looking for team oriented professionals with a strong safety record. Must have a Doubles/Triples endorsement. Must have weekend availability. See complete qualifications and benefits listed below:
Qualifications (Must Have):

• Class A CDL
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement
• 2 or more years of current driving experience
• Current DOT Medical Card
• 23 or older
• Must Pass Background Screening and Drug Test

Responsibilities

• Drop and hook doubles and single trailers
• Comply with all FedEx safety policies and procedures
• Communicate with the FedEx linehaul office in order to secure runs and transportation management system accuracy
• Maintain truck cleanliness
• Other responsibilities may be added as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $78,000.00 per year
