We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and safe transportation of patients with various medical conditions. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and providing a comfortable and secure environment.

• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Kendall, FL
• $15-$16/hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, providing wheelchair assistance and using appropriate medical equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport, monitoring vital signs and administering basic first aid as needed.
• Maintain accurate transport records and communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and dispatchers.
• Keep transport vehicle clean and safe, performing routine checks and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate compassion and professionalism at all times when dealing with patients, family members, and medical staff.
• Adhere to relevant regulations and laws governing medical transport activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• English & Spanish (preferred)
• Certification in basic life support (BLS) from American Heart Association (preferred)
• Experience in patient care and transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients with varying mobility levels.
