We're looking for an experienced, highly organized individual to join our team as a Transportation Scheduler/Administrator. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.) and work well in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is process oriented, thinks proactively and can navigate a high stress environment. The Transportation Scheduler/Administrator will process customer requests, pre-schedule and coordinate shipments with the dispatch department as well as work cross departmentally. An ideal candidate must be able to process a high volume of requests, and quickly receive and record information. It is imperative to have good communication skills and possess the ability to multitask effectively and prioritize requests that need immediate attention. Previous knowledge of DOT rules/regulations, commercial shipping and/or environmental services is helpful but not a necessity. This is a mid-level position with room for advancement within our company based on the successful candidate's performance.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-scheduling shipments
• Receiving customer requests and communicating with different departments.
• Continually monitoring and update information pertaining to shipments and customer requests
• Being task oriented, organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep a database of shipments/requests that is well maintained and organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
