SLA Management is looking for a dedicated and upbeat Training Coordinator. This candidate will be part of a great team that is always looking to improve the student's lunch experience. Applicants must enjoy learning the operations from each position and be able to assist with creating materials to support training in those roles. Our goal at SLA Management is to always provide students with the best 30 minutes of their day!


This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday/8:30am-5pm) located in Orlando, FL area based in our Support Center. Our employees do not work nights, weekends, or select holidays. Our meal programs are very successful and a rewarding experience.


PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF POSITION

The Training Coordinator will be assisting the Director of Training with all aspects of training at SLA

Management. This detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual will be responsible for assisting.

with content creation for the company, assisting with managing our Learning Management System,

creating engagement on the LMS, Training events/meetings/travel coordination including facilitation

when needed and assisting with keeping accurate training records.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Complete other duties or ad hoc requests as assigned by the Director

2. Helps Design and facilitate in-store training materials and programs in both print and digital formats

3. Helps Develop and implement e-learning courses, workshops and other training programs.

4. Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve training

effectiveness while maintaining operational goals.

5. Tracks training progress on the LMS

6. Helps Track ServSafe Manager Certifications companywide.

7. Helps organize and plan travel, events, and meetings

8. Work closely with the Director of Training to assist with projects brought forth quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Requirements:

  • Job Based in Orlando,FL
  • Experience in Learning Design and managing LMS systems
  • Ability to collaborate well with subject matter experts to create quality materials
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills including strong public speaking abilities as well as voiceover abilities
  • Excellent writing abilities
  • Detail oriented and the ability to take direction and make the project your own
  • Proficiencies in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Travel may be required during training period and peak reopening months (July-September)
  • Able to pass a level 2 nationwide background check

Preferred but not required:

  • Prior experience in Training/Development role, preferably in a multi-unit School Foodservice or Restaurant environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
