Purpose
The Title Reviewer is a fully remote position in the NY Foreclosure Department and is responsible for various functions within the New York Team.
  • Working with title vendors to obtain the necessary title product
  • Review, identify and rectify potential title issues
  • Monitor senior liens and file documents electronically
  • Monitor several communication boxes and other projects as assigned
Specific Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ordering, receiving, and reviewing titles
  • Identify potential title issues and relay to the appropriate team
  • Assist in curing title issues with the appropriate team(s)
  • Work side-by-side with the title attorney and paralegal while resolving title issues
  • Communicate with vendors and clients on a regular basis through dedicated boxes
  • Intake of Senior Lien Monitoring Referrals
  • Initial review of Senior Lien Monitoring files to determine course of action
  • Follow up every 30 days on Senior Lien Monitoring files as per client directive
  • Ensure all billable items are properly billed in accordance with client directives
  • Draft documents and file executed copies with the courts
  • Ability to transition between multiple websites and windows at one time to review and update information
  • Ensure clear and organized communication containing feedback, progress, and results of specific assigned projects
  • Ability to handle a high volume workload in a fast paced environment
  • Self-manage daily workloads and ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties as-assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of foreclosure experience
  • Must have 1+ years of title review experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel) preferred
  • Prior experience in foreclosure processing client systems, previous law firm or loan processing experience all preferred
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately is required
  • Highly organized with strong attention paid to detail and accuracy
  • This position will be fully remote.
