Tig Welder - Metal Work IV

• With our continued growth, we are looking to add a motivated and hardworking Welder to our Oconto, WI location. Welding examples: of TIG, MIG, Stainless and Aluminum.

This is a Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3PM position. With overtime as needed.

What you will do

· Position summary:

Position summary: Designs, fabricates, joins, and repairs equipment, fixtures, and structures by using various welding techniques.

Principal Duties:

• Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Certification for driving forklift. Must be able to move equipment around in small area in building. Move aluminum flat and stainless steel around facility with forklift.
• Foam insulation roll utilizing 2 people to roll to room and then place on machine by tipping it to side, placing rod through middle of roll and lifting to 5 ft from ground on machine. Weight appox 50# per roll. Roll out and cut pieces according to template.
• Fiberglass tubes get cut to required lengths.
• Parts bin full of aluminum flat and stainless steel at knee height, push/ pull to work area. Push 22*, pull 25*
• Parts table on rubber tires with handle loaded and moved to pick area 1-2x/ wk. Push 55*, pull 65*
• Move wood box of stainless tubing with forklift from floor to push cart, move cart to bench area. Utilizing 2-3 people unload 20ft pieces of tubing and place on appropriate racking.
• Tubing is cut down to appropriate lengths when needed, bent to certain angles, and then placed in welding area. 20 ft long x 3 ft high is longest rail, use B hands to move this product.
• Move appropriate jigs to welding bench and attach to table at 38 in high. Largest jig is 480 port – 15# May need step stool to reach top of railings during welding process.
• Pulpit jig move to area utilizing 2-3 people, slide and carry to weld bench.
• Move completed parts out of area and wrap, place on cart to move out of shop Push 16*, pull 16*.
• Place full dumpster, 4x4 ft and 43 in tall, on landing platform outside building walking appox 30 ft. Push 46*, pull 46*. Tall dumpster in foam cutting room, move with 2 people, requires push 150*, pull 150*.
• Bimini is place on racking that is 6 ½ ft high. Bimini weighs appox 30 lbs and 8 ft long. Utilize 2 people to hang Bimini.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
