Our client is a fast-growing neuromodulation company with an innovative product, that helps patients with chronic pain to significantly reduce the pain and enjoy their lives again. This is a remote telephone-based position that may be located anywhere in Germany or the UK.
It focuses on handling and solving issues experienced by Chronic Pain patients pre and post Spinal Chord Stimulator implant.
The ideal candidate will have pain knowledge and skills in handling patients who could be in extreme pain.
Other backgrounds considered will be those who come from Customer Service, Telesales and other telephone-based roles who are used to handling and qualifying customer/patient needs and empathy and patience is a proven skills.
The Therapy Support Specialist(TSS) plays an important role in ensuring superior outcomes with pain relief therapy. TSS interacts with patients to provide technical and product expertise across the assigned region. The position is part of the Therapy Optimization group and will work in collaboration with Sales Representatives, Therapy Consultants and Therapy Optimization Specialists.
What we expect from you on a daily basis:
- Communicate directly with patients;
- Serve as a resource for clinical patient support for issues relating to: device troubleshooting and Company product inquiries;
- Provide exceptional clinical education for Company products and related procedures and respond to detailed technical inquiries from patients;
- Respond to all patient and field communications in a timely manner. Responsible for reporting all complaints regarding products to the appropriate Company personnel within the required time frames;
- Provide appropriately documented follow-up on all patient interactions to the sales team. Consult with other internal departments when needed to maintain solid clinical outcomes;
- Perform continued patient follow-up to assure optimal patient outcomes;
- Multitask during all pre-determined hours, telephone, keyboard, strong analytical decision making and proficiency in the use of modern technology and software;
- Ability to travel 15-20% for training, conferences and occasional field support;
- Creative problem solving while remaining calm in unique situations.
Skillset & Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a consultative role a plus;
- Customer service experience is an advantage;
- Pain management and/or patient interaction experience preferred;
- Strong written, verbal and phone communication skills;
- Fluent German language skills & good English;
- Attention to detail, state of urgency & effective collaboration with team members;
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills;
- Comfort and adaption to advanced technologies.
