Dynamic, creative, team player needed to assist Director of Recreation at long term care facility.

Job Description:

Under the direction of Therapeutic Recreation Director, Recreation Supervisor will assist in the operations of the Recreation Department. Which includes but is not limited to:

· Musician is a plus!

· Plans, organizes and directs recreational service programs designed to motivate, stimulate, restore abilities and improve the quality of life for all.

· Lead daily recreation programs, example: arts and crafts, games, reading, exercise, massage, singing, room visits 1:1 interaction with the residents.

· Attending meetings to ensure resident needs are being met.

· Documentation, MDS, CAREPLAN, and ASSESSMENTS.

· Maintain organized workspace.

· Ensure all supplies for recreation staff are fulfilled to execute programs properly.

· Keep the appearance of the building looking warm, fun, and welcoming with seasonal decorating.

· Assists with the transportation of residents to areas where programs are being held.
