Job Summary:

The Test Engineer must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position will conceive, plan, and perform laboratory testing using both standardized test methods and customized approaches. Will use independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems within established policies and procedures and is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work.

Responsibilities:

• Conceive, plan, and perform laboratory testing using both standardized test methods and customized approaches;
• Collect and analyze experimental data;
• Present data using MS Office suite and data processing software;
• Evaluate test methodology for compliance with standardized testing protocols;
• Perform Corrective Action Investigations, Root Cause Failure Analysis and Continuous Improvement Efforts;
• Communicate with customers to ascertain needs and/or provide data analysis;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work on complex problems with minimal prompting or supervision;
• Understanding of data acquisition, control theory, calibrations, laboratory practices and statistics.

Education:

Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biochemical Engineering or closely related field

Work Schedule:

This position will work 8 hours, Monday – Friday in the Arlington, TX laboratory. This position is subject to overtime availability.
