We are operating and further developing the MBM wide, cloud-based Data & Advanced Analytics platform spire . By onboarding further global markets and offering E2E Advanced Analytics products – hand in hand with providing guidance on the compliance and information security side – we are one of the main drivers of the company-wide digital transformation. The department is also home to many BI reporting systems, the HQ data warehouse and smart solutions – like an AI-based forecasting software – that will shape the future the Finance & Controlling area. In addition, we take on the higher-level function of the data office and Business Information Officer for MBM. Within this framework, we play a role of great importance for numerous cross-organizational projects that have focused on digitizing their business processes and/or setting up fully digitized business models as well as data governance. On MBM's path to becoming a data-driven company, the department plays an important role. We lead and organize multiple work packages to move forward for this strategic action field. Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

As Teamlead Data Platform Governance (f/m/x), you are responsible for leading a small team and ensuring risk management and governance topics of the spire platform:

  • Implementation of legal, regulatory and internal requirements regarding data protection, legal (incl. US specifics) and IT security for data platform spire
  • Responsibility for a forward-thinking risk management concept for spire
  • Definition and further strategical development of the data platform management with regards to legal and security related topics
  • Management of data processing risks in the cloud as well as planning and implementation of adequate measures to reduce risks and necessary contractual agreements (such as SLA/DPA)
  • Process responsibility for data@cloud relating to spire
  • Onboarding support for use-cases which onboard their data to spire and close collaboration with the respective product teams
  • Alignment with stakeholders from legal, data protection, informaton security, BISO
  • Leadership and further development of a highly motivated and solution oriented team that supports each other and drives continuously performance improvement with an international and diverse background

Qualifikationen

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a degree with legal focus, economics, IT, or a comparable field
  • You have several years of professional experience in projects related to data governance
  • You show advanced knowledge in the topics data compliance, data protection and IT security
  • You have advanced presentation skills
  • You are fluent in English
