Team Lead Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Build superb SAP Add-On´s: You have the overall responsibility of developing and releasing Serrala's Standard SAP Add-On's based on the ABAP & Fiori technology Stack. You oversee the product development lifecycle including coding standards, quality KPIs and acceptance criteria, testing theory, security practices, release management.

Leadership: In your role as a Team Lead you oversee a cross-functional product delivery team conducting interrelated tasks with the FTE scope of one agile team. You guide their constant improvement by defining development paths, setting realistic goals, and providing constructive feedback and regular performance reviews.

Communication: You collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in requirement specification, feasibility analysis and engineering using appropriate methods, at the appropriate level of detail and formality.

Strategy: You support the VP Engineering by regularly reporting on the progress of the product delivery, relevant metrics, team updates, raising the relevant risks, recommending mitigation strategies, and proposing optimizations.

Your profile:

Solid background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable.
Professional experience: You have more than 4 years professional experience in application development & design in the software industry with strong expertise in ABAP? Great! You worked already with the UI5/FIORI framework ? Perfect Match – that is a plus!
Leading experience: You have more than 1 year experience in leading an agile engineering team.
Communication: You are an excellent communicator with English language skills who can inspire others, be passionate, provide context, create a story and deliver on it.
