Primary Purpose:

Responsible for assisting the Site Lead in implementation of the after school care extended day program’s daily activities at their individual elementary school; supervision of the children in the program; and the communicate with students, staff members, and parents.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Some college preferred, but not required

Education or Early Childhood experience preferred

Special Knowledge /Skills:

Ability to work well with children

Effective communication skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise children at the after school program
• Provide a fun, safe, and positive environment
• Communicate with staff, students and parents
• Follow security measures in place to maintain the safety of the children
• Assist in implementing the program’s daily activities
• Help to keep a clean and orderly program.
• Prepare and serve snacks

Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Schools located in the Grapevine/Colleyville area.

Professional growth and Development

• Develop professional skills and knowledge appropriate to the job assignment
• Participate in staff development by attending staff meetings as assigned
• All other duties as assigned
