As a Tax Specialist II, you will be responsible for monitoring the receipt, routing, and preparation of annual tax statements, supervise and review daily audits for reportable jackpots, ensure timely payment and monitoring of participation contracts for the company. You will also be responsible for researching on the various tax laws. Assist with additional projects, as assigned. Moreover, you should be submitting the tax documents (including statements) and participation payments on or before the due date.

To be a successful Tax Specialist, you should possess an extraordinary analytical and logical reasoning ability. You should also have good communication skills and the ability to meet guest’s demands.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and/or reviewing daily tax audits.
• Assist Tax Supervisor in preparing annual and quarterly annual tax compliance.
• Understanding and researching on tax laws.
• Understanding participation contracts and paying accordingly.
• Calling guests and educating them with company policy.
• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the guests.
• Recommending department improvements in the company's process.
• Submitting the tax and participation payments before the settlement dates.
• Liaising with third parties and multiple departments.
• Supervising projects as assigned by the Tax Supervisor.
• Managing tax compliance procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience in the accounting department as a Tax Specialist, Tax Manager, or a similar position.
• Good analytical and logical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A sharp eye for details for accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Extraordinary mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitasks efficiently.
