It Works! Tax Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of domestic and international indirect tax workpapers for 3rd party return preparers

• Prepare gross receipts returns such as OH CAT, WA B&O, and Oregon CAT

• Assist with indirect tax account reconciliations

• Perform initial review of indirect tax returns as prepared by 3rd party return preparers

• Assign sales and VAT taxability codes to products and services based on direction from Tax Manager

• Work with accounts payable team to ensure proper recording of indirect tax payments

• Maintain tax calendar

• Assist with tax audits, notices, and other projects as needed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  College degree (accounting or finance degree preferred)

• General accounting knowledge

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Ability to work independently with attention to detail

• Proficient in Excel and well versed with functionalities such as pivot tables and V-Lookups
