Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking an experienced full-time hourly Tape Edger for our Tupelo Sleeper facility located in Tupelo, Mississippi. Tupelo Sleeper specializes in mattresses and bed assembly. We are looking for a self-starting team player. The shift starts at 6:30 a.m.

$15.50-$16.50 per hour plus production incentive.

What you’ll do

• Complete daily assigned schedule.
• Daily preventative maintenance on machine.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Minimum qualifications

• 1 year of Mattress Tape Edging experience or equivelant upholstery sewing experience
• Knowledge of tape edge machine.
• Proficient in product quality awareness
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Possess a good attendance record.
• Ability to work some Saturdays and overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic communication skills, written and verbal
• Cleanliness and pride in work.
