WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the talent pool developed is one that mirrors the needs of the company
  • Responsible for posting jobs, screening/selecting qualified candidates and collaborating with hiring managers regarding applicant pool
  • Recommend and suggest other recruiting sources for hard to fill positions
  • Responsible for conducting initial interviews with applicants and participating in interviews with the interview team
  • Ensure managers are properly trained in effective and legally-sound interviewing techniques and questioning
  • Responsible for collaborating with hiring managers and leadership to prepare offers, compensation levels, start dates, pre-employment contingencies and other pertinent job offer details
  • Responsible for all new hire onboarding and orientation paperwork
  • Responsible for conducting new hire orientation
  • Responsible for establishing and building a professional relationship with staffing agencies
  • Provides feedback and suggestions for improvement to various recruitment processes
  • Responsible for providing regular recruiting metrics and ad hoc reporting
  • Build relationships with technical colleges and universities to develop a robust college/early talent program
  • Works with Marketing Manager and Training & Communication Specialist to develop appealing and exciting recruitment branding and announcements on all social media channels, Company website and careers page
  • Responsible for responding timely and professionally to any negative Company reviews
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, as well as, all Company policies and updated onboarding documents
  • Maintain accurate and timely HRIS records; including onboarding, hire, transfer, promotion, position openings, etc.
  • Build and maintain professional rapport with employee, management and external sources (customers, vendors, providers, etc.)
  • Support company decisions and present strong leadership abilities at all times
  • Required to travel to other locations as needed
  • Required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, related field or equivalent experience required
  • Experience of one (1) to three (3) years of work experience in recruiting required
  • Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
  • Strategic Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
