Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full cycle recruitment for a variety of individual contributor roles within our MedTech business units, acting as consultant and subject matter expert in attraction and acquisition. Leads strategy development with hiring managers (Associate Managers through Business Unit Presidents and Group President), collaborate with a Talent Acquisition Sourcer on appropriate sourcing strategies to attract and hire diverse talent.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action guidelines. This role will operate with a “start-up” mindset offering opportunities for process and practice improvement in an effort to facilitate a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Job Duties
- Lead recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers, developing successful hiring profiles, screening & interviewing candidates, and developing strategic sourcing techniques to attract, engage, and retain top talent in the Endoscopy and Therapeutics industry.
Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
Act as a consultant to hiring managers by providing suitable and qualified diverse candidates, conduct effective phone interviews and recommend a shortlist of candidates for hiring manager; providing status updates proactively, offering alternative solutions/strategies based on activity and metrics, ensure consistent follow-through and delivery.
Lead the development and maintenance of a continuous pipeline of diverse talent within the MedTech industry mainly for sales and marketing roles as well as other support and leadership roles; identifying new job boards, target markets, and blind spots to find hidden hard to reach talent.
Balance agility and unity with our hiring manager while also keeping to our commitments to Diversity and Inclusion, compliance, regulations, and best practices.
Support Hiring Manager and HR Business Partner through the offer process, leading the pre-closing of the candidate as well as offer extension.
Initiate pre-employment screenings and act as liaison to selected candidate and hiring manager through the process.
Support a positive candidate experience through the interview and hiring process offering other ways to facilitate a positive experience based on feedback.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of recruitment experience required; minimum 1 year of corporate recruiting experience preferred.
Experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment required.
Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATION:
- Experience in either of the following industries is preferred: MedTech/biotech/life sciences/pharma preferred.
Proven record of strong customer focus demonstrated by closing hard to fill openings with unique sourcing strategies.
Comfortable monitoring key metrics and making data driven decisions in respect to adjusting recruitment or sourcing strategies
Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.

Proven record of strong customer focus necessary.
Data analysis and report building experience preferred.
Excellent oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.
