What You’ll Do
The employee experience starts even before their first day of work. It starts with recruitment. It starts with you. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll oversee and be responsible for the full cycle recruitment of non-exempt and exempt distribution center positions. As a trusted partner and resource, you’ll work cross functionally with Human Resources, hiring managers, and leaders across the organization. Together, you’ll contribute to an inclusive and meaningful recruitment and onboarding experience that provides talent with equitable access to career opportunities at World Market. In addition, you will develop and mentor the Talent Acquisition Partner to achieve hiring targets and business goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to hiring managers across the (2) Regional DC’s.
- Implement and execute recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and build an on-going, healthy and equitable pipeline of qualified and diverse talent
- Become familiar with hiring locations, geography, and territory
- Effectively manage time and effort across sourcing, recruitment strategies, timelines and deliverables
- Mentor, coach and develop Talent Acquisition team members as well as act as a resource for recruiting best practices and ideas throughout the entire organization
- Influence up and train cross-functional stakeholders within the recruiting process
- Research and gain an in depth understanding of the distribution center departments and develop hiring strategies for these areas
- Work closely with hiring managers and be a trusted resource from the initial intake meeting to the new hire’s first day of work.
- Document job descriptions, search requirements, candidate screens and feedback for job openings
- Drive and manage hiring process including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, applicant feedback, reference check and drug/physical screening.
- Identify, track, and evaluate recruitment metrics and results to assess effectiveness and identify wins and opportunities
- Manage and track job board contracts including budgeting. Review new job board opportunities to maximize candidate flow
- Oversee and manage agency relationships and contracts, while managing temporary requisitions and recruiting processes.
- Partner with Employee Experience & Communications Manager to develop recruiting collateral for the distribution centers. In addition, expanding talent branding strategies across social platforms.

What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting and hiring
- BS or BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred
- Experience building diverse, inclusive and equitable talent pools and pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to provide research and analysis on recruiting, hiring practices and trends
- Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
- Building agency relationships and experience and understanding of agency contracts
- Understanding of employment law including EEO requirements
- Excellent communication and presentations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Previous distribution or manufacturing recruiting background preferred
- Must have strong boundaries with respect to confidentiality
- Ability to work independently
- You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working on a highly collaborative team
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
