The ICA is looking for an exceptional individual to lead the Management Information Systems (MIS) team, including managing and directing all facets of IT strategic plans, operations, staff and data center infrastructure.


Job Duties:

The individual appointed to this position will serve as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the ICA and will have frequent contact with the Director, Deputy Director, Division Managers, and Unit Supervisors to determine strategic and tactical business goals to apply information technology efficiently and effectively to project needs and requirements.

The individual will also be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of:
  • Strategic vision and leadership for IT department.
  • Direct development and ongoing management of IT processes, programs, systems.
  • Data Center operation and architecture.
  • Security controls.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud implementation.
  • Mulesoft AnyPoint platform.
  • Cloud architecture with AWS and Azure services.
  • Large document management systems and storage area networks.
  • Disaster recovery design and strategy.
  • Software development processes, application life cycle, information technology standards and management tools.
  • Converge infrastructure.
  • VMware vSphere architecture.
  • VMware VDI environments.
  • Local and wide area network architecture.
  • Network and computer hardware, Windows, and UNIX operating systems.
  • Google G suite and Microsoft Office365 SharePoint, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Microsoft SQL database architecture and operations.
  • Microsoft Active Directory LAN environments.

Selective Preference(s):
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with Salesforce cloud computing highly preferred.
  • Experience in supervision and/or leading a team.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Arizona Driver's License:
Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License. Required In-state and out-of-state travel is required. Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must complete any required driver training (See Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207 (12). Employees may be required to use their own transportation, as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.

Retirement:

You will be eligible to participate in the state employee health/disability insurance plan, and you are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). ASRS participation may begin immediately or upon your 27th week of employment. Contributions are matched by the employer.
