ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform a wide range of activities to support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or other enterprise applications to ensure operational effectiveness and excellence.
- Collaborate with end-users and other technical staff to design, develop, implement, and continuously improve services and deliverables to meet business needs.
- Consult with managers to determine what role the systems play in the business.
- Track and analyze business unit trends to make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness by utilizing ERP systems.
- Participate in initiatives for business units and/or serve on project teams, as deemed necessary.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for ERP application errors, change requests, documentation, or troubleshooting and escalate as needed.
- Resolve help desk trouble tickets related to ERP or enterprise applications.
- Conduct periodic post implementation training for users on how to appropriately utilize the ERP or other enterprise systems.
- Perform system testing on a regular basis to ensure quality and functionality.
- Work with internal and external vendor teams on all support/enhancement/project related activities.
- Support all technical development, mapping, configuration, and security access.
- Support all hardware procurement, installation, configuration, and testing.
- Develop expertise on how to create reports, grids, scripts, dashboards etc. in the ERP Application.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of information systems experience preferred.
- Experience analyzing complex system issues, contributing to estimates and making recommendations.
- Experience with 3rd party software implementations, consultants/contractors.
- SQL development experience (minimum 1 year experience).
- General experience with computer networks and operating systems.
- General experience with enterprise software administration.
- General experience with ERP applications and modules.
- General experience with software development lifecycle & relational database systems.
- General experience with software development testing processes.
- Business/Finance experience a plus.
- Programming experience a plus.
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Information Technology
