Job description

We are looking for a lead surgical scheduler to coordinate with patients to arrange their operation, get pre-auth approval when necessary, and help patients get surgical clearance as needed. As the patient's primary advocate, you will help them with any needs to schedule their surgery, including answering their questions and going over what to expect. It is intended that one with Medical assistant experience will assist the surgeon with pain injections every other week, including use of the C-ARM, sterilizing instruments, and turning over the room on surgical days. The non-surgical days will involve ordering supplies as needed, working with vendors prior to scheduled surgeries, making sure building inspections are conducted in accordance with joint commission recommendations, as well as helping with other administrative activities.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
