We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing appropriate supply chain strategy within the organization to maximize customer satisfaction. Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance by predicting and enhancing supply chain processes, identifying problems within their area, developing recommendations to support operations, gathering relevant data, interpreting and analyzing data, developing performance reports, forecasting future supply needs, investigating problems and developing solutions, monitoring contracts, monitoring logistics, providing analytical support, looking for new opportunities, monitoring proposals, coordinating delivery schedules, maintaining accurate databases, tracking product movement, and working toward increasing efficiency of their supply chain.

What you will do
  • Buy and Manage inventory investment to maximize fill rates and inventory turns. KPI development, monitoring and analysis.
  • Design and implement purchasing strategies (e.g., economic order quantities (EOQ), safety stock levels).
  • Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders as necessary to support the business. Analyze proposed purchase orders by using applicable information, including forecast, historical demand, in stocks and inventory turns metrics.
  • Approve purchase orders placed by the team.
  • Capacity and supply planning within the global manufacturing sites. Maintain frequent communication to properly plan production on each site.
  • Develop, implement and sustain a production/procurement planning system to ensure on-time in full delivery to our customers.
  • Maintain data integrity throughout the systems and reporting tools.
  • Management of vendor analysis including vendor performance, optimal pricing, quality and delivery, etc.
  • Play a key role in development of S&OP process.
  • Cultivate and procure positive and professional vendor relationships.
  • Liaise and support cross-functional teams (Vendors, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing and Finance) to ensure the company meets performance targets.
  • Play a key role in further development of ERP system functionality.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure we are receiving quality product, on time and are currently ahead of our cost savings plan.
  • Support and lead supplier strategy as well as additional cost improvement opportunities.
  • Assists processes for new product development.
  • Work with cross functional teams to meet supply chain objectives such as inventory entitlement, inventory control and inventory market commitments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Identify and develop process cost reduction initiatives.
  • Analyze product demand and supply and established supply chain processes and procedures using internal data collection.
  • Efficiently managing the inventory of finished goods in order to provide the best in class service level to customers.
  • Maintain system parameters to assist in planning appropriate levels of inventory in the warehouses to ensure proper turns, eliminate stock outs and respect the freshness policies.
  • Utilize key metrics to measure and improve performance.
  • Analyze data in problem resolution and trend identification.
  • Vendor contracts or agreements.
  • Lead or support Supply Chain ongoing projects.

What you will need
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft and ERP Systems.
  • Strong knowledge in improving business process reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal aptitude and ability to get along with diverse personalities and develop strong business relationships with vendors and associates; tactful, mature and flexible.
  • Good reasoning & judgement
  • Negotiating skills and working knowledge with inventory planning methodologies such as MRP, Kaban, etc.
  • Demonstrate a practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, JIT, etc.
  • High analytical and critical thinking skills.

Required Education and Experience
  • Experience using SAP or ERP systems.
  • Bachelors in Logistics, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Supply chain and logistics experience.
  • Experience with importation and customs brokerage.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing a multi-site Supply Chain operation (in a Medical Device Company preferred).

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
